Counter attacking vs attacks caused by tactics

When does a counter attacker get to counter attack an attack that is caused by a tactic?

For example. A Guthacker uses the Circular Slash tactic on himself, he charges & hits his opponent. Thanks to the Circular Slash tactic he is able to immediately perform one additional attack for free.

Does the counter attack occur after the Circular Slash attacks for the Guthacker model are all resolved?

Does the counter attack occur after each individual Guthacker has finished his attack?

Is the text below only valid for counter attackers with a lower Strike Rank?

Counter attacking a Unit
Units may be counter attacked just as normal models and in
order of strike rank.

Please note that in cases where the counter-attacking model/
unit has a lower strike rank than the attacking unit, counter
attacks may not interrupt an attack action of the attacking
unit, they may only be made after the whole attacking unit
has completed a melee attack action.
For example, after all
attacking models have attacked, the defender may counter
attack. Then after the attacker makes a second round of attacks
the defender may make a round of counter-attacks. Because
the attacker has a higher strike rank, the attacks and counter
attacks do not count as simultaneous!

The rule for the circular slash say all attacks are part of the same action.
But does it really matter? Usually you have the same strike rank so all attacks and counter attacks are simultaneous.

When the Guthackers are attacking a unit with the same strike rank, all models are fighting simultaneously.

So effectively it makes no difference in which order you perform the attacks, but we generally find is easiest to proceed like this:

1. Perfom all attacks for one Guthacker
2. Perform all counter-attacks for attacked elligible models wishing to counter-attack that Guthacker.
3. Perfom all attacks for one Guthacker
4. Perform all counter-attack for attacked elligible models wishing to Counter attack that Guthacker.
Etc.
5. Perform any Counter-attacks for models in the attacked unit who were not specifically attacked.
6. Remove all casualties.

Or if you prefer you can do all Guthacker attacks then all counter-attacks, then remove casualties.

Each model of a unit which is attacked may counter-attack any Guthacker in that unit. Models are not forced to counter-attack only the Guthacker who attacked him. Therefore you do not need to keep track of who attacked who.

You can even have models in the opposing unit which were not attacked by any Guthacker, but when that attacked unit counter-attacks the Guthackers, even those models who were not specifically attacked may counter-attack.

So it makes no difference in simultaneous melee (which is 98% of the time).

It's happened, in my last game, that my unit of Cromlech Guard, with their circle of death activated, charge an enemy unit of legio mortum. I place one of my Crom in the middle of the enemy unit so he can attack alone 3 enemy. in this case, he take the counter from all 3 model right? But if one mortum is attacked by 2 cromlech with their tactic, he can attack both of them?

No.

Everything happens simultaneously actually.
(Exception: different strike ranks).

So if a unit gets attacked every model of the attacked unit may make a counter-attack against a model in range of the attacking unit.

So it does not matter how many attacks a defending model receives, it may only counter-attack once.

After this attack is resolved the attacker may attack again and the defending unit may counter-attack again.
(If models are in strike range, enough Action Tokens available and so on).

But with the circle of death activated the Crom attack is against all model in RNG and as part of the same action. It works like you said even in this case?

spy is right, even in case of a CoD attack.
If charging, you make the charge movement with all Cromlech Guard models first. Then come the attacks of the Cromlech Guard (which in this case would all be attacks with circle of death), then the defending unit rolls for eventual counter attacks who count as being made simultaneously with the (charge) attacks (thus allowing even models that are destroyed by the attacks to counter attack as their last deed). Every model of the attacked unit which has an attacker in its MEL RNG may make a single counter-attack (without any fighting style, tactic or whatnot) against one model of the attacking unit.

Smashing empires of man is a moral duty
