If a model in a unit has successfully charged an opponent, do they have to position themselves directly in the middle of the straight line? Can the charging model position themselves to the left or right of the opponent to allow the next chargers to also complete their charge and also attack? If not, can the position of the first charger block the potential chargers from getting into melee range?

Here's an image to help illustrate what I mean:

You have to move (and stay) in a straight line, but not directly to the center of the enemy model. The picture on page 65 clearly states this. You can position yourself left and right to the enemy (as long your movement is enough to get into melee range) to have way for the other unit members.
And you declare charges first and move after, so you cant block LOS (but of course the path if you dont move wisely) to the charged models with the first moving members.

Thanks for the clarification.

The various steps in the charge procedure are still a bit vague to me but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
