What is GOTTSLAYARRRR?

Its an escalation "campaign" day playing Megalith Games Godslayer game on Saturday July 26th at Tanelorn Wargames Club (http://www.tanelornwgc.com)

What will the format of the day be?
1 x 160 point starter ‘battlebox’ game
1 x 300 point game
1 x team game (team = 2 players with 160 points each)

All the games will have a unifying theme.

Do my figures need to be painted?
Painted miniatures always look better and die faster! There are no painting requirements for this event but if you want to bring painted Godslayer figures then we would love to seem them there!

How much will it cost?
The cost for each player will be £5. Please pay for your entry as a GIFT using Paypal to twgc_treasurer@tanelornwgc.org

Anything else?
Nope, don't think so. We look forward to seeing you there.

Paid Entrants List
1. Des Brennan
2. Conrad EJ Gonsalves
3. Robin Poulton

Interested Parties
Matt Cole
Aaron Boyhan
Nigel Doherty

Just a reminder about this...

We have 7 people coming so far but are still looking for more. If you can make it, why not come and play some friendly games in a relaxed atmosphere? We would be glad to see you Smile

Here's a reminder about the Godslayer gaming day on Saturday 26 July at Tanelorn Wargames Club in East London.
Tanelorn

There are still places available for this friendly tournament / fun gaming day.

I will also be there to answer questions, Chat about Godslayer and give out some goodies.

So anyone interested should contact Des or Conrad at Tanelorn or email me or just reply to this post.

Regards, David

Tip: if it is possible post big tournaments a good time before the real date even if possible 6 months or more. I think there could be some interest in your club to do a weekend london. or another city.

we are also thinking of organising a tournament. but there are many things to discuss before the real deal

On Saturday we had the first London tournament, hosted by the great guys at Tannelorn Gaming Club.

First up was a starter-box warband battle which was a mixture of the Usurpoer and the Lost Artifact scenarios, with the item in the centre of the table on top of a hill. This was followed by a 300 points Bridges of Death Scenario and then a 300 Points Celestial Vortex Scenario.

An awesome day was had by all.

The Battle of the Trogs. Trolloth Warband fights a Shadow Troll Warband in the Bridges of Death.

Having consumed an entire Fjellgangr in the previous game, the Reavers (upgraded with Long Legs) race across the table in search of their next meal.

Conrad's Beastspawn Speed across the table into a storm of Thrashing weapons of the two Chainslayers and the Fjellgangr.

Aron the Tournament Champion, who decisively won every battle, claims a well deserved first place.

A big thanks to all who participated; it was a great pleasure to meet you all!
I hope we can arrange another tournament towards the end of the year - plenty of time to get out your paintbrushes :-)

I had such a great time David. Really enjoyed the games, the banter, the relaxed atmosphere.

Paint will be applied to the figures (it may just be undercoat).

More importantly I need to build my reaver and reaver tyrant!
