cool conversion idea with the Princeptor as unit leader.
it was a simple head swap but it does help the leader stick out a little more and at the same time separate the look of the two princeptor's, plus the green stuff on the neck of the legionnaire makes him look more veteran as its a sizeable battle scar. Smile
Hi Zeria,

nice paintjob and really great bases. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Michael
Hi Zeria,

good job!
I like that you painted "non-red" Legionaires...

And tell us the truth: You did the conversion of the princeptor to hide him in between the other legionaires. So now the enemy is not aware of his presence until it is too late... ;-)

Looking forward to see more from you.

Siegfried
Great work, Zeria! Smile
thanks for the praise guys Smile , working on my Nordgaard next. I also think you know too much spy Tongue ..maybe a trip to the necromagus's if such tactics are revealed. Haha nah i would never intentionally confuse an opponent about what figures are what in a game, but it was a good way of making both stand out more.
Next up to be finished is my Nordgaard starter deal box. Starting with the Fjell
leader and warriors.

Now onto my bane brood Smile
I totally agree with your choice of leather for the jackets of the Dwarves.

We had to paint the show-minis blue to maintain a consistent color-scheme for the faction. That's purely for marketing reasons; but my own Fjell Warriors are also painted using several different leather colors.

Two small things you could do if you want to make them even better:
A) Some parts painted in an additional shade of leather would give some nice contrast. I see you already used a red/Brown leather and a yellow leather. Maybe a green leather would be good. One thing I also do is use a glossy-brown ink on some parts of leather, then they look like hardened, shiney leather.

B) And some drybrush on the beards would really make them stand out.

I really like the Fjellgangr!
Thanks for the encourging comments david and advice. It's hard to tell from the pics as they are from a phone's camera but there are actually 4 different colours of leather, two red/browns different shades, a dark brown and a lighter brown Smile .They also do have line shading on the beards ratherr then dry brush, it takes longer to do but is worth it and your right it does make them stand out more. I always feel dwarfs should have a down to earth look about them hehe. Yeah I enjoyed painting the fjellgangr he was a blast and I was just compelled to put woading type tattoos on him.
