1) Bisotaur casts the spell and Mutation to Gut Hackers, that not allowed a Charge attack. Sorry, I havent a english ruleset (only german story and rulebook, but I will buy one in the future.)

2) The enemy says a Charge Attack to the Gut Hackers und pays the token.

3) The enemy had not seen the spelltoken.

4) The enemy losts 2 Action token for a 2 Action token attack.

Is that correct or must inform the Banebrood Player the enemy, before he declare the charge attack?

For the Banebrood it is a tactical Advantage, because the enemy dont think about the charge stop.

For me, it's a type of a "don't be a dick" situation. If it's not some kind of private information, then opponent should know everything all the time.

Just correct his mistake, and place the token that way the enemy can see it all the time (for example in from of your unit).

Simple:

The wording of this spell: "No charge may be decleared against this unit".
> No Charge may decleared,
> No Tokens may be spent.

Now lets deal with the Banebrood Player in a tournament:

Option 1:
He plays fair and informs the opponent imideately.
Judge: No charge, no action token spent (no judge necessary).

Option 2:
He want to use this illegal rule for his advantage (inform opponent right after he decleared charge and spent action tokens):
Action tokens back, charge taken back
or if "punishment" is necessary (e.g. it is not the first time he is doing it):
Option a: Action token spent and charge may be carried out as there would be no spell in place. First Warning!
Option b: Strict warning, eventually loss of tournament points, disqualification, ...

Option3:
He "finds out later" that the charge was illegal when he sees things go really bad):
Judge: Sorry. too late. Better luck next time. Carry on with charge.

Some general words about tournaments:

If a mistake is identified after "some time": treat situation as it would be legal what happened.
If a mistake may be corrected (because it is identified in time): correct it.
If a person uses illegal rules in his favor: make sure he stops.
Last but not least: The judge is always right (even when he is wrong).

I agree with Spy.

And as a BaneBrood player I think that everybody using this spell should just tell their adversaries that the charge is impossible in the moment of declaring it.
Simple thing - some Mortans declare Charge against the buffed Gut-Hackers - the BaneBrood general says, that it's impossible, so the mortan player change his activation without loosing any Action Tokens (and for example he decides to Move + Move + propably Attack instead of charging).

Thx all for the answers, especially Spy! They are all very helpfull.
