The last days I had not a lot of time for this Project (work, kids and 30 Godlsayer models painted).

So the only thing I did was to test how the structure of the walls should look like.

Also, I worked on the general shape of the temple, tested if the models may stand on the surface, if there is enougth space between the columns and so on.

As soon as everything is glued together no modifications may be made anymore.^
The order should alwasy be: 1. Thinking 2. Acting ^^

Wow, the temple is huge!
Now we can really get an idea of the scale.

It is May 2015.
Progress?
NON...

What happened?
Well. Work.
Nothing more to say.
I was several weeks away from home.
Sometimes just 2 days, sometimes 2 weeks in a row...
9-12 hours work a day, Saturdays too.
And vacation is still weeks ahead from now... Sad

Still I was able to do something.
But it was for the "futuristic evil empire game".

What I learned:

- Plans are plans. Reality is reality. Reality is not equal to plans.
- What you do not yourself will not happen.
- There is a huge satisfaction if you finish something. Like creating enough terrain for another 2-3 gaming tables in time.

So:
I will not give up and continue on this project!

Ha!

I know you didn't expect any progress here.
(Some days I thought so too...)
Well, time for an update!

I had to cut many plasticard pieces:

Then I put them together:

Detail:

This is how it will look like when I remove the roof to play inside the temple:
A big statue for the back is still missing. I could not find the right model yet.
Some small details will also be necessary (light? tables? I have no idea what kind of interior could have been found inside a temple...)

The (almost) finished temple / non-painted and not glued together yet.
Because the base is not even and some collums are 1-2 mm shorther then others I have to "sort" the collums so the roof will rest equal on all the collums.

With miniatures so you may get a Feeling for the size of this temple:

The temple is about 20 inches wide, 30 inches deep and more than 11 inches high...
The next steps are the top part of the Roof (tiles) and the details on top and around the roof. Also some Kind of fresco would be nice.
But here I have absolutly no idea yet what I will do (I don't want to glue a picture there. It should be some 3d models or so.)

Questions and comments are welcome. Smile
