Hello,

since I'm now finally registered here I thought I could take the opportunity to show you my Nordgaard (as far as its painted, yet Wink ).

A whole and frequently updated gallery can also be found here on my blog: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/galerie-godslayer-nordgaard/

And in case you are interested in some of my WIPs or basing projects or such I suggest you have a look at these articles: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/tag/nordgaard/

But now let's get to some pictures (BTW: They're hosted at dakkadakka.com. So try to click on them for higher resolutions. Wink ).

The first Godslayer mini I ever painted: My Warsmith.
More views of him can be found here: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2013/07/14/go...nordgaard/
[Image: 588147_sm-Dwarves%2C%20Godslayer%2C%20Nordgaard.png]

Second one I paitned back then was the Leader of my Fjell Warriors.
If you are interested in more views have a look here: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2013/11/02/go...-warriors/

[Image: 557760_mb-Dwarves%2C%20Godslayer%2C%20Nordgaard.png]

After having to stay lonely (among the painted dwarves) for quite a while he today has a bit of company: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2014/03/30/go...-ihr-sein/

[Image: 598403_sm-Dwarves%2C%20Godslayer%2C%20Nordgaard.png]

Next after the Fjell Warriors leader was the Runegate Keeper (bought at Spiel'13). http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2013/11/14/go...te-keeper/
Although I reworked his beard and hair once (http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2013/11/16/ru...rbeitung/) I'm still not fully satisfied with it. As compensation his base turned out really nice. Smile

--- this break is featured by the forum error telling my there are too many pictures inside here. Wink ---
OK, let's continue. ^^

Beginning of this year I finished Santa Cla... the Brewer of Odrorir and with him my Nordgaard starter box: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2014/05/02/go...vollendet/
Before starting this one I went on a painting workshop by Massive Voodoo. Well, I think you can see the improvement for yourself. Wink

Next up was my Fjellgangr. Unfortunatelly when building him his bear broke in half and thus I made him a new one with a bit of green stuff. ^^
More pictures of him here: http://pfiek.wordpress.com/2014/06/10/go...ell-gangr/

[Image: 620568_mb-Giant%2C%20Godslayer%2C%20Nord...Basing.png]

So far so good. Let's finish for now with a Clan faction group shot from mid of this year.
I still have a troop of Einherjar and Kinswords lying around here waiting for paint and I also took some resupply home from the Spiel'14. So you can maybe see more results here soon. Wink

Any comments? Smile

Great paint job! I even think the new-bearded Fjellgangr looks better then the original one. Well done!

Very nice! Only thing I would criticize, that the snow on some Fjells looks a little bit cloudy and....puh, cant describe it right. In the picture some snow-surfaces look like sausages of glue, if you know what I mean. Big Grin
But the paintjob is great, I really like the combination of green and red. Keep it up!

Thanks to all of you. Smile
Chances are good that new painted models will be ready to show in the next weeks.

Well, as a moderator perhaps you have connections concerning a resculpt of the Fjellgangr? ;P

The main problem is the angle of the pictures. They're made to show the figures and less the bases.
Sure, the snow has a bit of "sausage" character but I drepped it around the two height levels on the bases. Still not easy considering the little space there is and that you still want some of the earth and stone to show through.
Maybe I can to some additional shots from above at some point the future.

If you have a look at the Fjellgangr's base: The technique is the same (PVA + water + "Kaisernatron") but it looks better because there was more space to create wider snow piles instead of sausages.

OK, now I just need to now where and how to get my bonus from Megalith. Care to by another box of Fjell Warriors maybe? Chainslayer? Valkyrie? And remember: For each 500 points the deployment limits are increased by one. ;P
