Suppose I have a Legio Mortom close to an enemy model. Both have only range 1 attacks, but are not currently engaged.

Suppose I raise a trooper in my Legio Mortum and place it between the unit and the enemy model in such a way that the new trooper and the model are within one inch of each other.

Are the unit and the model in combat now? Does the new trooper engage the model? Is the new trooper engaged by the model? Is the model still able to charge? Is the unit still able to charge?

They are both in combat. They are both engaging each other and neither of them can charge.

Nice Smile. That makes the undead legionnaires even more versatile! This way it is possible to "grasp" an enemy, making it easier for the Molochs to position themselves and charge the poor enemy models...
