If a Druid wishes to sustain Shapeshift, does he need to be within 2 inches of the model he has Shapeshifted to at the time he spends the Action or does that only count when actually casting Shapeshift?

I'd say the only good Mortan is a dead Mortan but they're probably the worst kind! Pendragon Hywel ap Morgan before the battle of the Silver Forest...

I'd say he doesn't need to stay within 2 inches to sustain the spell, as sustaining spells is not casting a spell again.

Thanks for confirming that. Just trying to have the answers before the inevitable questions are asked!

Since this thread is already here, I'll add my question:

When a Druid uses Shapeshift and their weapon takes on the power of the target's weapon, does it also take on the range and actions of that weapon/those weapons? Or does the 2ACT 2RNG from the Shillelagh always stay the same?

Completely overlooked the last question, sorry MN!

The spell says he uses the base stats and the power (and only the power) of the relevant model, so the rest of the weapon stats are that of the Druids shillelagh.
